i feel as if i'm being harshly treated by kudosnetwork. i have enough greens for my order but my account has been put on hold. i admittedley started to apply for an offer from another of my email addresses but stopped immediateley as i realised this was against the T & C's, which i admit i never read at first. I have raised a couple of tickets regarding this but no replies. i have a lot of family and friends who took up offers and spent their money to get me enough greens for my sons ds lite. Deep down i had a feeling this was too good to be true and now i know. once bitten, twice shy. this will probably be my last involvement with this type of site. |

Hi.
First of all I can assure you I reply to every query that is sent my way within 24 hours. However admittedly I have not replied to any within the past 24 hours as I have been away from home. I am back now and am answering them as I speak.
In response to your query, your account was placed on hold due to the reasons you stated. Unfortunately you broke the T&C, whether you meant to or not, that means your account is placed on hold. If I let everybody off that told me it was an accident there would be no point in having rules!!
These rules are there to protect both the freebie scene in general and the advertisers which I promote.
I would recommend using this as a learning experience and trying again on another site (within the kudosnetwork or not) but this time READ the T&C.
Sorry you feel bitter. _________________ Lee

| i wasn't expecting a positive answer, just bitterly disappointed i didn't read the t&c's first. how many other people has this happened to and how much money has been wasted on these sites. i for one and all my friends and family have learned a harsh lesson regarding these types of scams. Why should it matter who or how many offers are taken up by individuals. you still rake in the cash from the offer sites. I've sent an email to the office of fair trading to see where i stand. my family and friends are all out of pocket due to my encouragement. this is outrageous. |

Actually, if it is suspected that fraud has taken place the commission is claimed back from the affiliate network. Therefore I do not benefit as you state.
Thousands of pounds worth of free gifts have been sent out by both myself and the other popular networks within the community.
I can assure you this isn't a scam. If you take the time to read the T&C you would have no problem in gaining free gifts. The rules are there to protect all those involved as explained.
I'm sorry you feel the way you do. _________________ Lee

just take it as a lesson learnt and move on to another site (i still think you should stick with kudos by the way) and before you sign up READ THE T&Cs, i know you feel bitter but there's no need to call these sites scams. They are legitamate but there are some rules and guidelines you must follow. Not reading the T&Cs before signing up is just plain stupid to be honest. _________________ Total recieved in freebies:

i agree.
to call all this a scam because you broke the T+C's is unfair.
please read T+C's in future.
people that read that you claim this is a scam may be put off by your experience, and it ruins the chances of others getting referals. |

you must think because i didn't read the t&c's that i not very bright. but i know when i'm being scammed. fraud sounds as if i've committed a serious crime, not just applied for a refferal from a different email account-which i stopped. so if i didn't follow it through. where is the fraud?
Judged-Sentenced and Executed. I hope everyone reading this(not your pals) takes heed about this scam! No doubt you can get another of your pals to delete or edit this thread. don't worry i'll put thid down to experience. a very bad experience and i'll tell anyone who'll listen to avoid you like the plague. oh and the part about not making any money i find particularly hard to swallow. will my family and friends get a refund? I don't think so do you. someone has our money and it's not us.
yours bitterly, markmu66 |

Have you ever watched the TV show Airport or Airline? People fnd out they did something wrong because they didnt read the T&C's all the time!!! And yet its never their fault?

Fraud is an act of intended deceit, you tried to "con" the network whether intentional or not by signing up for multiple accounts in various email addresses.
Why did you do it indifferent addresses if you did not plan to defraud Kudos?

You admitted that you did it!!!

Im sorry Mark, you tried to cheat the system and was caught, own up and move on. It sounds harsh, but when you mention Office of Fair Trading (who by the way would side with Kudos on this matter once they know all the terms & conditions mention this exact scenario) and how you have been "scammed" then im sorry but you deserve no sympathy.
All networks (mine included) have a clawback system, if our advertisers smell a fraudulant account, they clawback the full commission leaving us with nothing, who do you expect to then pay for your gift? _________________

It'd be a shame if you did. Most Freebie sites would be a lot worse than this, i.e. Not letting you use any of their other sites again.
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but you can still get a DS if you complete another site on the KudosNetwork (at least on a custom order?).
Admit to yourself at least, if you were in Lee's position, you'd probably do the same, with the amount of people who get put on hold and try to claim it was an "accident".
Think about it, with a lot of "accidents" in life, you're scarcely offered a second chance.
Take it or leave it.[/b] |

| the common denominator in all these replies seems to be you all have your own sites and selfish interests at heart. i admitted i never read the T&C's. i could have got my family and friends to sign up to the free 14 day trial of lovefilms like the rest of you do, then cancel after the 14 days and not pay a penny. who is really committing the fraud here. Has anyone who else(apart from the network clique) any views on this? |

Nope, no site.
And the part about "selfish interests", EVERYBODY has them to an extent, Mark.
Even if you are getting this gift for someone else as you claimed (a commonly seen claim when trying to argue back being put on hold, might I add), at the very least, on one level you're doing this for in return for thanks or gratitude. |

| it doesn't matter what i say it won't make a blind bit of difference. ok i tried to fraudulently claim a ds lite, it wasn't for my son it was for me. i did read the T&C's and knew exactly what i was doing. Is that what you all want to hear. believe what you will. I KNOW I DID NOTHING ILLEGAL, SO GO AND SCAM SOME OTHER PEOPLE. YOU'VE HAD ALL THE CASH YOU'RE GETTING FROM ME AND MINE.... |

By signing up with alternative emails, you tried to steal from the network (whether intentional or not).

Noone asked you to "admit" this, no-one cares, the fact is, you tried to slate a network for YOUR mistake. Thats all the problem is, it was your mistake for not reading the T&C's, it was your mistake for signing up n more than one account, it was your mistake for blaming someone else. _________________
