I am not sure why/how, but i've been banned Confused

I haven't visited for about a month, but I saw I received a PM, and when I went to log in, it says i've been banned from this forum. Not sure why, but can a MOD/Admin please un-ban me! Thanks!

That's the thing, I don't know who sent it/what it said because when I went to log in, I was banned Confused

Only way I could be banned is one of the other MODs/admins accounts being hacked. Will wait and see if any reply. I have PM'd the admin hopefully he will sort it out.

maybe they banned you as you hadnt been active as a mod in over a month? lol

maybe it wasnt an account being hacked, maybe it is genuine?

I wasn't the one who placed the ban so you will have to wait for a reply from the admin.

There was a mods account hacked as there was lots of posts from the introduction area and the mods forum deleted. Also the word censor list was edited to put swear words in nearly all the posts.

Maybe it was your account they got in on and that is why it has been banned.

Wait for Gimme4Free to sort it mate.

, although I found it strange when I visited that there were no threads in the intro section since August. Can you not just unban me? You know it wasn't me! If you want to wait for admin that's ok too though.

The person in question isn't in the ban list anywhere, which adds to the suspicion a lot.

I thought the name problem was strange - turns out someone had banned the creation of all usernames with vowels and *s*'s in using wildcards on the letters. Which of course makes most usernames uncreatable.

I think the problem is fixed now. Only fair, I feel sort of responsible for it.

Anyway, all is explained in the PM (if that doesn't get deleted before it reaches you). Feel free to forward and show to admin, etc.

P.S. I didn't reban the suspected person, as I believe they don't have any mod rights (despite giving themselves the title). It would be interesting to see if they make a comment. Thought it would be best to leave to the real mods/admin to ban him.
