and yeah, im totaly new. started trying 2 get stuff about 2 weeks ago. and atm im working on quite alot of things. and im really needing help. because i dont have any refs yet.. but ohh well. hopefully soon

Yeah, it's a nice site which is why he/she chose to steal it from another freebie hunter on another forum and then tell people they had made it themselves.

they hardly even compare. okay, little bits are the same but there just bits i thought were effective. my nav bg and template are also different. so its not like i havent put work into my own website. and its a freewebs site, its not like its some big company. its 2 guys. just trying to get somemore refs..

This is more of a civil dispute I believe, and there's nothing (to my knowledge) that we can do on here - of course, I could be wrong.
Technically, he hasn't done anything wrong on this forum, even if what's been done is unfair.
Maybe copyright laws could be brought into this?

You'd be surprised - You can get done by Windows for doing a screenshot of one of their Media Player visualisations and claiming it as your own design (even if you alter it)...
And it's more than just a few sentences, it's a copied structure and design, with maybe a couple of details changed.
Nothing will probably get done, but if I'd be pretty pissed off I had created that site, and some guy had copied me claiming to have created it themselves. |

the reason the structure and design is the same, is because its a freewebs template. its bound to look similar. and all the others are about sports or are just plain. so i didnt really want to put a different template on it. if you look at joosh0's website. his template is the same aswell..

errrrrr, didnt you admit on another forum that you copied another persons site?
Your exact words were.....I only copied because he got his free macbook air and i wanted one 2 so that webby obv helped.
I mean, if you want positive proof, just take a look at his "own" site and scroll down the homepage, you will then find a section that says "Most people will be convinced by the Proof page, and remember to watch the video."
The word "proof" is clickable but not to corrins site, the link directs to the other persons proof page on the original site.
Now tell me that it's all your own work..........I think youngsters would say "OWNED"  |
