**Note: You must have at least 5 previous forum posts to participate in trades.
STEP 1:
Post your trade request in the Trade Greens Forum (please don't put referral links in your advert - you can swap links with your trading partner once you have agreed a trade):
STEP 2:
Wait for an interested party to post a reply to your trade advert.
STEP 3:
To make sure you are choosing a trustworthy trading partner, you can check their feedback. If they have no feedback, then you should check the scammers list for their username.
Once you have found a suitable trading partner, click the 'finalize' icon at the bottom of your thread. Only the person who initiated the trade can see this icon (and you must be logged in to see it). By clicking 'finalize', you lock the thread and no other interested parties can post:
STEP 4:
To make sure you are choosing a trustworthy trading partner, you can check their feedback. If they have no feedback, then you should check the scammers list for their username.
On the following screen, select the username of the person you wish to complete the trade from the drop-down menu, then click 'Submit':
You have now agreed to trade with that person. Once finalized, the original thread will be moved to the 'Completed Trades' forum. You should contact your trading partner via pm/email to arrange the conditions of your trade.
You have the option of leaving feedback for your trading partner to allow the rest of the Gimme4free community to make a judgement on their trustworthiness for future trades. Obviously if you are satisfied with the trade, you should leave positive feedback. If you are unsatisfied with the trade (i.e. your partner breached your agreement), then you should leave negative feedback and post their username in the 'Scammers List' forum to alert other members.
Have fun and good luck getting those greens! |
