Hey guys and gals,

Can anyone tell me wot the deal is with the lovefilm pay as you go.

What are the terms of the offer, i mean do you have to order a number of dvds before it goes green or do u automatically get charged at certain points?

Cheers

can't exactly tell you about that as mine's still ongoing with them. but basically you have to:

1. sign up
2. purchase some credit for pay as you go (since that is relatively speaking more expensive than the regular one, you might want to take advantage of the 14 day free trial which lovefilm offers everyone who signs up on their website regardless of any freebie schemes)
3. receive some dvds. now, since i misread my instructions on the giveaway network, i signed up for the regular one by mistake as it is so much cheaper, and haven't been credited so far.

i also sent lovefilm support an email enquiring about my green but they only sent me a generic promotions/freebies reply. their service is really great, i guess it's just that most of their employees don't know about the freebie world. i looked up again the details on giveaway - that's when i noticed my mistake - and you're right, it does not specify how many dvds but i believe that lovefilm gives you some kind of limit as to how many a month or how many at once you can keep.

sorry i can't help you more than that!

Sssh...

You're not supposed to say that you stop the trial before it ends Wink

just to add some people have stated that you can sign up to the love film pay as you go after you have canceled your trial. In my experiences this is not possible, but you can do the free trial and easycinema

Since this post was made a while ago, can anyone update as to what the conditions for a green are using the PAYG scheme?
