|
|
Hey, I haven't been on this scene for so long but have managed to get 2/10 referrals which I don't think is so bad considering they aren't from anybody I actually know. I will offer some of my own methods to you guys and hopefully you can offer some more that I haven't already stated
* I send a really short generic message to a handful of people on facebook after typing in PS2 in the search engine it comes up with a list of people who have gaming listed as one of their interests. I got 1 green this way but got a warning from Facebook not to spam!
* I created a basic and easy to read poster (printed off 20) with my referral link repeated at the bottom of the paper which can be torn off for people to take away. I put up a poster in my accommodation building at uni but within minutes it was ripped down and nastily written on! Since then I have pinned a poster up in the local shop where I live, I haven't had any yellows yet so it may not still be there.
* I am in the process of emailing my yellows, hopefully I can sway at least 1 person!
* I have asked friends of friends but they are really cynical and I have had no luck yet.
* I advertise my referral link on Faceparty and ask men to complete in exchange for a cam show. I don't own a webcam and don't go through with my part of the bargain I don't feel guilty about this as I see it as their punishment for being so perverted. I have attained one green this way.
* I advertise my link on chat rooms but have been booted out a fair few times.
Now I am sitting back patiently trying to find a better and more efficient method to get more greens in bulk. Like others have already said, it is just a case of being patient
Hope that helps! x _________________ http://NextGen.Giveaway.co.uk/index.php?referral=231805

lol yeah, my brother has created a profile on there posing as a woman now, he seems to know what men want to hear though so actually has better luck than me! I had quite a lot of yellows from that method but most of the men lie and say that they have completed, they don't realise that I know if they haven't _________________ http://NextGen.Giveaway.co.uk/index.php?referral=231805

Haha, I tried this as well (not on Faceparty),
I'm not so good at it, evidently, because I only spoke to a few guys and none of them ever went green, so I got bored and stopped :p
That, and I felt a little uncomfortable pretending to be a woman...
My friend got loads from it (He's on this forum somewhere I believe), so if you do it right, and in the right place, you can get your referrals pretty quickly
For guys to use this, I'd say it requires someone who isn't too much of a homophobe (Not that I am, but it still feels weird) and plenty of persistence. |

Lol that's good, I've only managed to get 1 so far that way but quite a few yellows! You really do need to be persistant and put up with a lot of horrible talk before they consider going green though. I haven't been doing that much since though because it is quite time consuming. Thing is, I registered my uni address for the PS3 to be sent to but I'll be leaving in about a month so I have a time limit now which is making it harder the pressure is on! I couldn't even manage to get a few greens from friends and family because they are all so cynical and uninterested It seems a free console isn't enough of an incentive for people to click on my link. _________________ http://NextGen.Giveaway.co.uk/index.php?referral=231805

Lol, all my friends and family are cynical too.
I don't care so much about getting my gift (iTouch), I just want to get it to prove them wrong.
(I already look a bit stupid, I told them I'd have it a week ago, but Freepay are crap at delivering... yes it's taken over a month and a bit).
Good luck with getting your gift |

Hmm, reading this it sounds as though you and your brother both made your accounts at the same computer? |

I think it only counts the IP you sign up on or something.
I have free choice between two (I'm on wireless), and my brother signed up on my laptop, on the other IP.
They figured something was up, as he got put on hold, but they never traced it back to me, despite switching between the two IPs often (depending on what tasks I'm performing).
Point is, as long as it's a different IP, should be fine.
(p.s. I was a bit stupid back then, I didn't really know the T's & C's, but I have passed verification since) |
