I've looked at the trading section to see the two ways people use for trading:

One is doing referrals for each other, the other is paying them for greens.

But I was also wondering if you are allowed to do something similar to paying which is giving away freebies for referrals (I have PC games, PS2 games and DVDs I'd love to give away for that elusive green).

Cannot see a problem with it although i would be surprised if it got you many if any greens.

I was thinking that sending 2 DVDs or games or even CDs to any person who gave me a referral would be the same as giving money (I have very little money in my Paypal account but would be fine giving £5 per referral). Anyway, if it's permitted I don't see a problem with trying. And many of my items are sealed plus I have limited boxsets (I have a boxed and new Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc + Rayman PC joypad so PC gamers might like it).

I'm sure this is fine, but obviously you'll first have to send the product to the person going green, and once they've received it, they go green.

Definitely, since I'm new and thus have a greater chance of being a scammer I would want to send first, although to protect myself I would like to only send to people with many posts and who have good feedback.

You and muffy have been extraordinarily helpful so thank you so much for this.

I don't see a problem with this, as long as the person you are trading with understands what they are getting.

I'm a newbie and was wondering the same. Seems like a good idea to me.
