Hi just to let you know i think you need to block STEPHENLOCKWOOD as it appears he has scammed myself, m4rk and 0707. He said he would do C4G for me yesterday in a pm and sent me messages in quick succession. however, the second i paid him i didnt hear a word,
Then an hour later my brother (robwiltrade) got a pm askin him to trade. he replied stating he would if he completed my deal but its been a day and no reply to either of us.
His real name is Adam Hanks and his e-mail is hanksy@fsmail.net
Thanks
Nick

I can 100% agree with this. He needs to be BANNED, I can give a MOD any communication I have if proof is needed.

I'm definately not condoning the scammer at all, just saying that it really is better for the person to complete the offer before you pay them. =/

Cefca, it's not always as easy as that.

Not much good saying you should make them complete the referral before paying. There are two sides, and someone has to go first, regardless of what it is they're trading (e.g. referrals, money, etc).

Somebody can just as easily complete a referral for somebody, then not have the other person pay them.

Doesn't matter which way it goes, you have to be wary of scammers on either side of the deal.

We are keeping a close eye on this situation and would ask all involved to confirm if and when they receive a refund.

This happened to me as well, except with G4G. After telling the owner of FF, this convinced him to go through with the trade. If he doesn't go green, I'm sure he'll get banned from FF.

His other u-name is Stevo.

How do you know his other username is Stevo?

(As in, what source?)

Well, he PMed me asking to do a trade...i went green on his site but then refused to do mine, so I reported him to the owner of freebiefreaks (who i know) and he threatened to ban him if he didn't do my site.

He's done an offer with the email hanksy@fsmail.net but hasn't gone green yet.

He's banned (along with IP), but it would appear his keeps changing (as in his IP) and he's tried coming back before...

I'd advise to anyone - Unless it's somebody you actually know and trust, not to trade via PM.

especially
if they haven't got anything enough posts for the trading section.

Thanks for the heads up.
