Hi Folks,
Regretfully, we've come to the decision of putting a halt to the Ad Clicks Service. Maintaining the service was becoming too costly, and with recent technical issues it was decided that the best thing was to stop the service altogether.
Those of you who currently have banners will receive the clicks you purchased, however when these run out you will no longer be able to renew your banner slot.
We will, of course, issue refunds to all those customers with ad-clicks accounts still containing funds. Refunds will be issued tomorrow (15/04/09) and if you feel you have been missed, you can contact us via our contact form.
We've really enjoyed being able to provide this service to our members over the past year or so, however we can no longer maintain system with our current resources.
We wish you all the best in getting those greens!

I don't think so. I think there will still be some banners as they are obviously there to help the owner of the site get a few greens as well as a way of repaying the mods help.

No, we won't be removing the ads for the meantime. There are still several members of Gimme4free with active ads who will receive the clicks they have purchased.
Once those members have received all of their clicks, we will then explore what we can do with the banners.

I'm all for repaying the mods for their help but, apart from you, who actually are the mods because i never see any on here.

There are still 2 others named but I haven't seen them about for a while. I am unsure who's links are actually on the banners and if they are the mods or not.

Let's try to keep the thread on-topic - regardless of the status of the mods. The point is, there will be no further banner advertisements available to our members for the forseeable future.

Oh goody, a refund of £2.00 now sits in my paypal account and the minimum withdrawal is £6 
Wouldnt have been a refund if my funds had actually went into my account here when i paid it, rather than a few hours later by which time the ad that I wanted had been taken. I got another ad but this was £2 cheaper, hence the outstanding balance.
No ads, no mods, dont really see the point of hanging around here anymore. I've only used a few clicks, can i get the rest of my money refunded and then that will be one ad less to worry about.
