Hi
I've got two queries I need help with.
1. I completed the 12 referrals needed with ipodsgiveaway for an ipod touch. Immeditately after the last 12th went green I submitted them for verification several days later on August 19th... They've still not been verified! And it's now September 3rd. Despite several support tickets they've not responded (well responded once with a "wait" answer).
I don't know what to do. There is no help line or contact number and I'm worried i've been scammed - despite using giveaway successfully once before.
What advice does anyone have in contacting and resolving the issue?
2. I've been conned by two users on gimme4free and I'd like to report them so other users don't fall foul, and to ensure they aren't allowed on the forums again. I completed referrals for them both but they did not return the favour despite repeated contact. Admittedly, it was via PM, which I know is not allowed, so that was my error. However, I think it's worth making it known who they are (funkyjunkified and ineedgreens).

As the trades were by PM I am really not able to verify if there is anything we can do except keep an eye on them.
As for the verification on the giveaway, I know that TAB who runs the support there is currently on holiday and there has been a delay in the orders. He is due back very soon and will have a mountain of support tickets and verifications to get through.
Don't worry the network has not scammed you.

Oh right, on support tickets it says 'Lisa'. Although, thinking about it, i'd prefer to speak to a Lisa than a tab! 
Do you know when he's back from holiday? It's just i'm eager to get this ipod touch for my neice's birthday which is 10 days away... Not sure i'm going to make it. |

If it becomes dangerously close and you're desperate to give it to her on the day, perhaps you could buy the iPod for your neice's birthday, then sell the new one?
Although you might lose out on a bit of money...

There is no need to bump threads that are nearly a year old.
Giveaway is going through a hard time at the moment and may not be the best network to be with.
The lovefilm offer takes 28 days to show offer accepted but on giveaway they have been taking much longer.
Also on your site you tell people to cancel the lovefilm offer. This will get you banned from the giveaway site as it breaks the terms and conditions to advise people to cancel offers.
The advertising companies will stop advertising through freebie sites if people begin to 'cheat' the offers as the companies are looking for real customers
In fact nearly everything you say on your site is breaking the terms and conditions. There are no programs that can scam the freebie networks. I will be reporting your referral link to the network if all the content stays on your website in the form it is in.
